Exciting news! The CTDHP recently made a presentation to the Council on Medical Assistance Program Oversight, referred to as the Medical Assistance Program Oversight Council (MAPOC). The MAPOC is charged with monitoring and advising the Department of Social Services on matters including, but not limited to, program planning and implementation of the delivery system under Administrative Service Organizations, eligibility standards, benefits, health care access and quality measures. The Council consists of legislators, consumers, advocates, health care providers, administrative service organization representatives and state agency/commission personnel.
